Microgaming Live at 85jl — Premium Studio Gaming Since Day One
MG Live refers to the live casino suite powered by Microgaming — a developer that has been in the online gambling industry since 1994, making it one of the founding names of the entire space. When 85jl integrated the MG Live lineup, it was a deliberate decision to offer Filipino players a product that goes beyond just putting a camera in front of a card table. Every MG Live session is a professionally produced broadcast with trained dealers, multiple camera angles, and zero compromise on connection stability.
The MG Live lobby at 85jl covers all the essential live casino categories — Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, Dragon Tiger, and more — each with variants designed to suit different betting styles and budgets. Minimum bets start low enough for casual players (PHP 50 on select tables), while high-limit rooms accommodate seasoned regulars who want more action per hand.
What genuinely sets MG Live apart from some competing live studios is consistency. The dealing procedures, camera quality, and game pacing follow a standardized protocol that makes every session feel polished. Players in the Philippines who've visited the live tables at Solaire or City of Dreams in Manila will recognize that same composed, controlled atmosphere — except now it's accessible 24/7 on your phone or laptop without a dress code or minimum buy-in.
At 85jl, we've configured the MG Live section specifically for the Filipino market — PHP-denominated tables, full support for GCash and Maya deposits, and our local support team on standby if anything comes up mid-session. If you're already familiar with live casino play through other platforms, MG Live at 85jl will feel immediately familiar. If you're new to it, this is one of the best places to start.

Getting the Most Out of MG Live at 85jl
Watch Before You Bet
Most MG Live tables at 85jl allow you to watch a round without placing a bet. If you're new to a particular game or variant, spend a few rounds observing how the dealer operates, how the interface works, and the pace of play before committing chips.
Match Your Table to Your Bankroll
A common mistake is sitting at a table where the minimum bet is too high relative to your session budget. For a PHP 2,000 session, a PHP 50 minimum table gives you 40 hands. That's a comfortable session. A PHP 500 minimum table burns through your budget in 4 bad hands.
Stable Connection is Non-Negotiable
Live casino requires a more stable internet connection than slots or sports betting. If your connection drops mid-hand, the system records what bet was placed — you can't cancel it. Use WiFi or 5G when playing MG Live for the smoothest experience. In Metro Manila, most home fiber connections handle it perfectly.
Claim Live Casino Cashback
85jl's weekly cashback promotion applies to all live casino losses — including every MG Live table. If you're a regular MG Live player, activating cashback before your session means a percentage of any net loss comes back to your wallet at the end of the week. Silver tier starts at 0.5%, Gold at 1%, Diamond at 2%.
Time Your Sessions
If you enjoy the social side of live casino — chatting with dealers and watching other players' reactions — evening sessions between 8 PM and midnight PHT are the most lively. For quieter, faster-paced play without queue waits on popular tables, daytime hours from 10 AM to 3 PM are the sweet spot.
Learn Side Bets Separately
MG Live Blackjack offers side bets like Perfect Pairs and 21+3 that can feel tempting. These carry a significantly higher house edge than the base game (sometimes 5–8% vs the standard 0.5% with optimal play). Learn them for fun, but don't build your core strategy around them.
